The PC Assessment Wizard will scan your computer and give you a "report card" that describes how secure your computer is.
The assessment will tell you where your computer falls short and give suggestions on how to improve your security.
Once you've upgraded your security software and settings, you can run the PC Assessment Wizard again to see how you've improved.
Windows Vista Users: To receive an accurate PC security rating, you must have "Internet Explorer Protection Mode" turned off. To do so, follow these steps: 1) Click on the Tools menu and select Internet Options. 2) Click the Security tab. 3) Uncheck the box labeled Enable Protection Mode. 4) Click OK to save your settings and close the window. Now you're ready to run the free Security Wizard.
